Hill Day
As part of TMCF's federal advocacy campaign, we are hosting a Hill Day in Washington, DC on September 27-29, 2016 to bring awareness to the #intheblack advocacy campaign. Fifty students from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) will be selected to participate in this two-day conference. These students will gain the skills necessary to be an effective advocate. They will spend the day on Capitol Hill, have the opportunity to speak to policy makers and staff about the importance of having greater or better student loan repayment options, and raise awareness about this important campaign while learning about the legislative process and federal financial aid literacy.
